Vive L’Ecosse!
Scotland rugby fans had one of the best days so far in this year’s Six Nations Championship, as they found themselves cheering on the winning team.
The Scotland rugby team sent French Grand Slam hopes up in smoke on Sunday with a terrific victory at BT Murrayfield.
Naturally, Tennent’s Lager didn’t miss the chance to celebrate the nation’s victory and lit up Biddy Mulligans in the Grassmarket with some very special projections on Sunday night.
In the projection, Scotland captain Stuart Hogg can be seen passionately singing “Flower of Scotland”, following the side’s winning display against France.
But the huge projection was also accompanied with the rather cheeky tagline “C’est La Vie” – meaning “that’s life”. It was said to be a reminder to visiting French fans that sometimes in life, things don’t always go your way.
George Kyle, head of PR and sponsorship at Tennent’s Lager, said: “What an incredible result. We’re a proud supporter of Scottish rugby and really pleased to be able to share this victory with all the fans across Scotland.
“We hope everyone has a fantastic evening celebrating and if you’re passing Biddy Mulligans, be sure to toast the victory with a pint of Tennent’s.”
